WPRB IS SEEKING NEW ON-AIR TALENT!
Ever thought about getting involved with community radio? WPRB is a volunteer-run, music-based freeform radio station in Princeton, NJ and we’re looking to expand our volunteer airstaff this summer. No previous broadcasting experience is necessary, just an open attitude towards music discovery, a willingness to help out with off-air projects, and a tireless hunger for underground and underrepresented sounds.
We’re looking for auteurs of ambient soundscapes, free-jazz freaks, bedroom pop apologists, underground hip-hop heads, 60s soul salvationists, psych-folk svengalis, experimental evangelistas, synthwave sycophants, globetrotting cassette scavengers, Bandcamp romantics, protopunk archeologists, foragers of forgotten funk 45s, dub reggae dilettantes, vintage twang hot-shots, beatmining bigwigs, harlequins of heaviosity, and glitch pop gurus who are fired up about sharing their passions with a huge audience across NJ, Philadelphia, and beyond.
We are especially eager to hear from those who can make live radio from our Princeton studios during weekday and overnight hours.
