Every March since 2004, in observance of Women’s History Month, Classical Discoveries with Marvin Rosen pays tribute to music by women composers from all over the world and through the centuries.  Every regularly scheduled Wednesday program in March is exclusively devoted to their music. The third show of the series will air Wednesday, March 15, 2017 and will be devoted to American Women composers.

In addition to the scheduled programs of Classical Discoveries on Wednesdays, Monday editions of “Treasures of Early Music” will each feature one major work by a woman composer written before 1750 as well as some other works by women. The early music programs for this month will be participating in Early Music Month 2017 – Event.
