John Coltrane To Be Expression Impulse! The only recording i know of with Trane playing flute ( actually it's the flute that was Eric Dolphy's before his passing). This track was recorded on 2/15/67 and features Pharoah Sanders on piccolo, Alice Coltrane on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass and Rashied Ali on drums as well as Trane's rare performance on flute.
